Uganda Airlines is set to launch three new routes to Abuja, Lusaka, and Harare in September 2024, marking the airline’s five-year anniversary. The expansion will bring the total number of destinations to 16 and increase Uganda Airlines’ aircraft fleet utilization and regional network.
The CEO, Jennifer Bamuturaki, emphasized the strategic significance of the new routes, which align with the airline’s vision to connect East Africa to West, North, and South Africa. With 19 daily flights and a 20% contribution to Entebbe Airport traffic, Uganda Airlines is positioned for long-term profitability.
