The 3 days Akagera wildlife tour is a game viewing experience. Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park
Day 2: Game drive and boat cruise/launch trip on Lake Ihema

DETAILED ITINERARY:
Day 1: Arrival / Transfer to Akagera National Park
Arrive at Kigali International Airport. Meet and greet by your safari Guide and transfer to Akagera National Park in the eastern province of Rwanda (+/3hrs). Enjoy the scenic country side enroute.
Transfer to your lodge (LD)
Day 2: Game drive and Boat cruise on lake Ihema
Take an early morning game drive through the Northern sector of Akagera. The drive will reward you with amazing sights of the big five game ( leopards, lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos) plus giraffes, antelopes, warthogs and several bird species.
After lunch, you will spend your afternoon on a rewarding boat cruise on Lake Ihema with hippos, basking crocodiles and water birds as well as elephants and buffaloes that roam the lake shores.
Transfer to your lodge (FB)
Day 3: Game drive / Transfer to Kigali / Departure
Take an early morning game drive before you connect to Kigali city. Take a city tour – visiting the Genocide Memorial Center and the Craft Village before transferring to your hotel / residence / Airport for your departure flight.
