This Rwanda wildlife safari explores the big 5 African game in Akagera National Park. This savanna safari park sits in an area of 1122sq.kms in Eastern Rwanda, with African elephants, lions, Masai giraffes, zebras, leopards, warthogs, roan antelopes, birds and a lot more. It also takes you on a boat cruise on Lake Ihema with sights of hippos, crocodiles and water birds with a chance to sight the shoebill storks.

Day 1: Transfer to Akagera National Park / Boat cruise on Lake Ihema
Meet and greet by your safari Guide and transfer to Akagera National Park in the eastern province of Rwanda (+/3hrs). Enjoy the scenic country side enroute.
After lunch, you will spend your afternoon on a rewarding boat cruise on Lake Ihema with hippos, basking crocodiles and water birds as well as elephants and buffaloes that roam the lake shores.
Transfer to your safari lodge (LD)
Day 2: Morning game drive / Transfer back to Kigali
Take an early morning game drive through the Northern sector of Akagera. The drive will reward you with amazing sights of the big five game – leopards, lions, elephants, buffaloes, rhinos, plus Zebras, giraffes, antelopes, warthogs and several bird species.
After, connect to Kigali city, visit the Genocide Memorial Center before transferring to your hotel / residence / Airport for your departure flight.
