The Uganda birding excursion explores Mabamba Wetland, which lies on the shores of Lake Victoria, the freshest water lake in the world. It covers about 24.24sq.km, and the wetland is home to water lilies, ferns, papyrus, as well as a diversity of water birds (Over 260 bird species) with major focus to identify the rare shoebill storks.
