A stakeholder event has been organized by the Ministry of Tourism Uganda, to discuss new guidelines for the registration and administration of tourism private sector associations in Uganda.
The engagement event will take place in Kampala on June 6, 2024, will bring together representatives from both the private and public sectors, reflecting the collaborative nature of this initiative. The primary objective of these guidelines is to streamline the organization, recognition, and registration processes for tourism associations, promoting self-regulation within the industry and enhancing its competitiveness.
By establishing clear and consistent standards, the guidelines aim to ensure that associations operate efficiently and adhere to best practices, ultimately contributing to the sustainable growth and development of Uganda’s tourism industry.
