Fort Portal City has reached the 2024 Tooro Kingdom MTN Amasaza Cup final after drawing 0-0 with defending champions Mwenge South, securing their spot with a 2-0 win in the first leg. Mwenge South, despite dominating play and creating opportunities, failed to score and were eliminated. Mwenge South’s official Gilbert Businge acknowledged their missed chances, while Fort Portal’s resilient performance marked them as the first finalists.
The tournament not only showcases football but also promotes health awareness and community spirit, leading up to the Empango celebration on September 12. Local leaders, including Hon.
