FUN CYCLING UGANDA FLAGS OFF 360KM RIDE TO KASESE FOR RWENZORI MARATHON.

Fun Cycling Uganda (FCU) officially launched a 360-kilometer cycling journey from Kampala to Kasese today, starting at 6 a.m. The ride aims to promote cycling as a healthy, sustainable transportation method while highlighting Uganda’s tourism potential in connection with the upcoming Mt. Rwenzori Marathon.

The route is divided into three stages: 181 km to Kyegegwa, 103 km to Fort Portal, and 75 km to Kasese. Club Secretary Eddie Okila emphasized the importance of this initiative in fostering tourism and supporting local communities. Kenyan cyclists will join FCU, with plans to arrive by Thursday for a day of rest before the marathon.
