4 Days Uganda Gorilla trekking safari Experience

Day 1: Arrive Kigali Rwanda
On arrival, your safari guide will pick you up from Kigali Airport, and transfer to your hotel in Kigali. Briefing from the guide and Enjoy the evening / Dinner (Own arrangement) @ Leisure.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi National Park:
You will have an early breakfast, and will transfer to the Uganda/Rwanda border where you will enter Uganda and head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Transfer to Mgahinga for the Batwa Trail:
The Batwa trail takes you through an experience of the extra ordinary life the Batwa people, the first forest people who as they used to live their original setting and their unique culture. The expedition takes you through activities like hunting, fruit gathering and other activities in the forest they once shared with wildlife.
They make useful interpretation on the medicinal values of different herbs, bee honey harvesting skills, hunting tactics, water fetching using bamboo tubes, making fire by rubbing dry sticks against others and hut construction styles. The main highlight of the trail is the Garama cave a 200-meter-long larvae tube which used to act as the King’s residence, chambers, training wing, granary, armory among others.

Day 3: Ultimate Gorilla Trekking Experience:
Today the highlight of your safari will be the ultimate gorilla experience in the jungles of Uganda. Your driver guide will transfer you to the briefing point where you will receive instructions on how to conduct yourself while in the forest and once you locate the gorillas. The trek takes anything from minutes to several hours in search of the gorillas depending on where they nested the previous night, be prepared to trek for long hours. Once you locate the gorillas with help of your guide and trackers, you are allowed to stay with them for only one hour. Gorilla trekking can be strenuous & physical fitness is required.
